Examples of customized training options
Computer Technology- Advancing technologies requires us to keep up-to-date on the latest computer applications. We have trained teams in Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and other applications.
Teamwork, supervisory skills, leadership, and more- We recently completed a training project for a local manufacturing company. Every employee (250+) received training in one or more areas. The project included skills assessment, specific industry trade skill training, and a variety of management and teamwork sessions. The result: increased productivity, stable workforce, and a great working environment.
Corporate Retreats, Vision/Goal Setting Workshops, or Special Seminars for staffs and board of directors - We use a variety of tools to assist you in establishing your company's vision, goals and objectives.

TCL partners with many agencies and organizations to assist with workforce training.
Workforce Investment Act Incumbent Training Grants: Grant funds are available for companies for workforce incumbent employee training. The goal is to help the company stay competitive and increase the likelihood of individuals keeping jobs. Companies must be in SC for at least 1 year and have one or more FT employees and be current on tax obligations.
readySC: For companies expanding or relocating within the service area and plan to increase their workforce by ten or more employees. Positions must be permanent, pay comparable wages, and include health care coverage. Companies can qualify for up to 100% of training including instructor's salary, job advertising, and other services. readySC is part of the South Carolina Technical College System. www.readysc.org
