Program Description: The cosmetology diploma program is offered in a full time setting scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 4:30 pm for three consecutive semesters. Hair, skin and nail care theories are studied to develop an understanding of the procedures used within the industry, along with Business Math, English Composition and Psychology courses preparing the graduate for the business aspect of cosmetology. The Cosmetology Diploma is a state approved program and gives the student over 1500 hours of instruction in a real laboratory setting that qualifies a student to take the State of South Carolina Cosmetology Licensure Examination.
