Learning happens in the classroom and out of the classroom. College is more than the books you read and the classes you take. At TCL, it’s also about building social networks, honing your leadership skills and providing an enriched learning environment. There are numerous ways to get involved on campus, including participating in student organizations, having fun and meeting new people at student events, or just socializing in the Student Center located in MacLean Hall, Building 12 on the Beaufort Campus. Activities and events are also held at the New River and Hampton campuses as well. The main Student Activities office is located on the Beaufort Campus in the Student Center. Come by and check it out!
We have a number of campus events every year, including our Education Jamboree and the Mather Day celebration. Many of our student groups like to volunteer at local park clean ups or sign up for our outdoor student leadership experience. In addition, we host various holiday events like our annual Flag Day Celebration where we write thank you cards to our military troops and a Halloween pumpkin carving contest. Enroll today and come join the fun!
