Ground Source Heat Pump Accredited Installer Training

TCL was one of two Technical Colleges in the state that received a $25,000 grant from the S.C. Energy Office to establish a Geothermal Training Center.

This technology will save valuable resources, improve your bottom line and give you a competitive edge. You will be able to offer you customers a low-maintenance, economical, and environmentally friendly alternative to their space. The IGSHPA credentials have international recognition and suggest that its holder has been thoroughly trained to install geothermal systems in accordance with protocols designed to achieve the highest level of workmanship and energy efficiency.


Who Should Attend:

GSHP designers, architects, HVAC installers, HVAC contractors, trenching/drilling contractors, builders, general contractors, project managers, and anyone else interested in alternative energy solution technology.

Prerequisites: Must be 18 years old to attend.

Upon successful completion of the workshop and passing the IGSHPA installer’s exam, you will receive IGSHPA accreditation as an installer for GSHP systems. Participants that successfully complete this course and the final exam will have a three year membership/accreditation with IGSHPA. The course cost include the three year membership fee, the final exam testing fee, the IGSHPA study guide, and the IGSHPA text book developed for this program.
