TCL’s Online Orientation is being presented to you as an virtual online course in the Blackboard format much as you will see in the online course(s) that you are taking. It is interactive so that you can go through each of things presented and can actually take tests, submit assignments, enter discussion postings, send messages and emails and “play” with some of the other course tools. When you click on the Online Orientation link at the bottom of the page, you will be taken to the login page shown below:
To gain access to the Online Orientation, simply enter your username and password. You will be taken to the “My TCL BB9 Home” page as shown below:
This page is editable and you can add or remove modules to suit your needs. By default, it will always contain a module entitled “My Courses” which lists all of the courses in which you are registered. To go into your class, simply click on the link to the course in the My Courses module. You can also go to the Courses tab which is also editable and where you will also find a list of your courses. Again, simply click on the link and you will be taken to the course. Now click on Blackboard Online Orientation for Students and you will be taken into the orientation. Nominally, your course will open to your course’s home page, however we have chosen to take you to the page shown below in order to give you some important information and some guidance on navigating in your course.
Please read all of this information carefully and then follow the directions and proceed with your orientation. Now click the link below to start.
