Flower Arranging- for the Church

June 6 through 22, Mondays and Wednesdays, 6-7:30p, $75, Beaufort Campus

Whether it be your Sunday to put flowers in the church or you need to place flowers out of respect and in remembrance of a loved one at the cemetery, this class will teach you how to arrange for a baptismal window for a dramatic effect and how to arrange a spray for the top of a monument or pot plant or basket anchored at the headstone. Heaight and scale restrictions are taken into account in all of the design work.

Required Materials:

  • 1 pair scissors
  • 1 pair wire cutters
  • Ribbon of Choice
  • 1 small floral knife
  • 1 Tall Vase
  • 1 Basket (wicker or white plastic)
  • 3 silk bushes (mixed colors)
  • 2 bunches or bushes of silk greenery
  • 1 small block of styrofoam
  • 1 pack of wooden picks
