This is an introductory workshop to rug hooking with in the tradition of the craft established in the 1800’s. This is not latch hooking. Strips of wool fabric are pulled through a loose woven fabric backing forming loops. This technique is used in both folk art and fine fiber art.
This is a hands-on course, teaching skills to allow the student to finish a small piece started in class.
