Intro to Power Yoga
Though the benefits of yoga are great and vast, it sometimes seems intimidating. No more!
Dancing Dogs Yoga and the Technical College of the Lowcountry are happy to offer this 6-week yoga series emphasizing your internal power.
Based on Baron Baptiste’s 11 part Journey Into Power Sequence, Intro to Power Yoga is the first step on your Journey Into Power. Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga is a challenging and flowing form of yoga that heals, detoxifies and electrifies body and mind at their deepest levels. This class will challenge your body, your mind, and deepen and intensify your yoga practice.
Prepare to work and to SWEAT! Please bring your own mat and a towel, and come hydrated!
This class is suitable for students of all levels, ages and physical conditions— modifications available. Come begin your Journey into Power.
All props will be provided. If you own a mat, please bring your own. Mats will be available to borrow or purchase. When purchasing a mat, please buy one that is suitable for a vinyasa practice. Wear loose and comfortable clothing. Shoes are not allowed in the practice space; yoga is practiced barefoot.
Please arrive 10-15 minutes before class begins. Turn off all cell phones and electronic devices. For a full list of yoga etiquette and for answers to frequently asked questions, please visit our website at www.dancingdogsyoga.com/aboutus/
