TCL presents digital photography classes

The Technical College of the Lowcountry Life Enrichment Center and Captured Moments Photography Studio have partnered to offer exclusive tips and tricks for using your digital camera and simple software to make your pictures truly unique.

 

Eric Smith owns the portrait studio Captured Moments Photography in Beaufort, S.C.  He recently moved his studio here from Maryland and has won numerous awards in print competitions for both portraits and art photography.

 

Smith will be offering two courses in November to reflect all levels of understanding. His first class will be held Saturday, November 5 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and is for the beginner. Participants will learn the basics of digital photography and keys to getting the most out of Photoshop Elements. Bring your lunch and continue to learn additional tips and tricks with an outdoor shooting session. The cost of the course is $115.

 

The second class will be held Saturday, November 12 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.

 

m. This intermediate level class will build on the basics. Continue with this class and learn even more about camera settings and Photoshop Elements. Resolution, retouching and outputting options are a few of the many topics that will be covered. Bring your lunch and continue to learn additional tips and tricks with an outdoor shooting session. The cost of the course is $105

 

Both classes will be held at the TCL New River campus in Bluffton.
