TCL to offer low maintenance landscape class in April

Learn what you can do today to increase your enjoyment and minimize future efforts in the garden.

 

The Technical College of the Lowcountry Division of Continuing Education landscaping course will cover low maintenance and sustainable methods of creating and maintaining a landscape while considering the site, budget and time commitments. This three-part series will be offered at both the Beaufort and New River Campuses.

 

Students will learn how to increase property value while minimizing environmental impacts on the unique Lowcountry ecosystem. Landscaping decision can have lasting, beneficial impacts. Join this class to learn tips on creating and maintaining a beautiful, sustainable and low maintenance landscape.

  • Part 1: Thursday, April 10, 6:30-8 p.m., Beaufort Campus
  • Part 1: Friday, April 11, 10-11:30 a.m., New River Campus
  • Part 2: Thursday, April 17, 6:30-8 p.m., Beaufort Campus
  • Part 2: Friday, April 18, 10-11:30 a.m., New River Campus
  • Part 3: Thursday April 24, 6:30-8 p.m., Beaufort Campus
  • Part 3: Friday, April 25, 10-11:30 a.m., New River Campus

 

Cost: $29 each class, or all three for $75.

Leah Palumbo and Louise Hodges have been creating award-winning landscapes throughout the Southeast. With over 40 years combined experience in residential landscaping, they share a passion for sustainable, simplified landscapes that off the greatest visual impact with the least amount of effort.
