The Technical College of the Lowcountry Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development will offer more than 15 free classes through the end of 2012 at the Colleton Career Skills Center in Walterboro.
The schedule features classes on hunter safety, resume writing, and soft skills – a course that covers topics such as customer service, business etiquette, and time management.
“TCL is offering these free courses to connect with the community,” Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Gina Mounfield said. “The Quick Jobs Center is workforce development focused. Resume writing and brushing up on soft skills are the first steps in advancing a career.”
TCL will kick-off 2013 with more free classes in gardening and boater safety.
In addition to these free classes, TCL has a variety of classes in industrial technologies and computer technology scheduled for the fall in Colleton. Visit www.tcl.edu/ce and click on “Colleton Career Skills Center” to see Colleton’s complete continuing education and workforce course schedule.
For more information or to register for any of these Colleton classes, please contact Rhonda Johns at 843-538-1613 or rjohns@tcl.edu.
