SC Accelerate can help with providing skills for:

  • College Entry
  • Industry recognized technical certifications and degrees
  • Practical experience and skills necessary for job obtainment and retention
  • Access to resources through the Academic Success Assistance Program (ASAP)


Who is eligible?

The following applicants are the target population for the SC ACCELERATE program:

  • Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Individuals
  • Veterans and spouses of active duty military personnel
  • Adults aged 25 and older. This population may include:
    - Unemployed Individuals
    - Dislocated Workers
    - Incumbent Workers
    - Underemployed Individuals


The SC ACCELERATE Program (Adult College Completion through E-Learning Resources and Academic Tracks to Employment) blends the delivery of education and training with wraparound student support services to better prepare its participants  for high-wage, high-skill jobs in advanced manufacturing and industrial technologies, as well as support employment in South Carolina.
