TCL will honor more than 300 graduates who will receive associate degrees, diplomas and certificates in arts and sciences, business technologies, health sciences and industrial technologies. TCL ANNOUNCES 2012 COMMENCEMENT SPEAKER
The Technical College of the Lowcountry is pleased to announce that Clifton Taulbert, entrepreneurial leader and Pulitzer-nominated author, will deliver the 2012 Commencement address.
“Taulbert’s powerful and encouraging message will surely inspire the Class of 2012 to continue to achieve and excel as they enter their professions,” TCL President Dr. Tom Leitzel said. “Taulbert’s story will resonate with our graduates who, like him, have succeeded through their commitment, hard work and determination.” Read more here.
TCL TO PRESENT INAUGURAL PRESIDENTIAL MEDALLION AWARD AT COMMENCEMENT

WHALE BRANCH SENIOR EARNS TCL RECOGNITION WHILE ADDITIONAL STUDENTS HONORED FOR COMPLETED COURSES
Whale Branch Early College High School senior Ariana Davis added to her list of honors today when she was named the 2012 Young Achiever by the Technical College of the Lowcountry.
Davis and classmate Tanasia Hamilton will be the first two Whale Branch seniors to graduate with both high school diplomas and Associate’s Degrees from TCL. Whale Branch’s partnership with TCL allows students to take college courses while still in high school, at no charge to their families. Read more here.
