Student Records

The Student Records Mission aligns with the Student Affairs Mission by establishing that the Student Records Department will provide extemporary service and support to students. Our Mission is to collect, store, protect, and retrieve accurate student information that documents educational progress.

The Student Records office provides a variety of services in order to maintain official student records including grades, graduation requirements and official transcripts. The office also issues your free student identification cards (ID) and free parking decals on the Beaufort Campus.

Enrollment Verifications – students can obtain an Enrollment Verification from the Student Records office on the Beaufort campus or the Student Services office at the New River campus by presenting a photo ID.  Distance Learning students in need of an Enrollment Verification should submit a written, signed request (note that a student signature is required) to Student Records or scan and e-mail a copy of a signed, written request to srecords@tcl.edu.

Student ID Numbers – students are assigned a TCL student ID number upon acceptance to the college.  After submitting their application, students can visit the Enrollment Services office on the Beaufort campus or the Student Services office at the New River campus; ID numbers are provided to students at that time.   Students may also obtain their ID number by logging into their WebAdvisor account at http://webadvisor.tcl.edu/.  Instructions and login information is available from the WebAdvisor page.
