Chef Jamar Pryor began his 13-year career at The Landings Club as a utility worker in 2006. The Landing Club’s scholarship program allowed him to go back to school to receive his Level 1 ProChef Certification and ProChef Level 2 training from the Culinary Institute of America. Through several years of hard work and dedication, Chef Pryor has worked his way through the kitchen to his current position of Head Club Chef at Oakridge Steak and Pub. Chef Pryor carries has earned a variety of certifications including Mediterranean Cuisine, Bread Baking, and Sous Vide. However, his favorite things to cook are fish and vegetables. When he is not in the kitchen at Oakridge, Chef finds time to volunteer at a number of local organizations including Moses Jackson, Union Mission, Second Harvest Food Bank and Ronald McDonald House. In his free time, Chef Pryor enjoys spending time with his children and attending food expos.
