You’re Invited to an Employee Appreciation Event
TCL is hosting an Employee Appreciation Event from 2- 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, on its Beaufort Mather Campus as a way to thank employees for all that they do to make TCL a success.
Bruster’s will be on campus with ice cream and a sundae buffet. Cupcakes will also be given out. In addition, Beaufort Memorial will offer free blood pressure checks, height, weight and BMI checks.
Employees that intend to come for ice cream and for the free health screenings, are asked to RSVP Monica Ramsey at mramsey@tcl.edu. The deadline is April 30.
TCL Welcomes New Staff Accountant – Mary McDorman
Mary McDorman has joined TCL’s Finance Department as a staff accountant.
Mary previously worked for TCL in the Business Office from 1995 – 2000. She most recently worked at a local CPA firm as a staff accountant/tax preparer where she worked for more than 20 years.
Originally from southwest Texas, Mary has lived in Beaufort for more than 30 years.

A talented artist, Ashleigh recently participated in the Beaufort Chalk It Up Festival celebrating street painting and sidewalk chalk art in downtown Beaufort.

TCL Cybersecurity Faculty & Students WIN big!
Congratulations to the TCL students and faculty who were part of the MySafeCyber team! The team recently participated in “TechStars Startup Weekend” in Beaufort and came up with a winning business idea that would assist small businesses with cybersecurity! Wow, great job team.
