The TCL Foundation accepts contributions in a variety of ways including cash, check, credit card, securities, bequests and planned gifts. See more information about the different fund designations below.

THE PRESIDENT’S FUND FOR OPPORTUNITY AND EXCELLENCE. Your opportunity to support academic program needs and innovative workforce solutions.

TCL GENERAL SCHOLARSHIP FUND. Your opportunity to support any eligible TCL student who aspires to achieve a higher education.

VETERANS SCHOLARSHIP FOREVER FUND. Help our Veterans bridge the financial gap of education cost unmet by the GI Bill and by state and federal education aid.

THE GUARANTORS PROGRAM. Become a Guarantor and help us guarantee that no deserving TCL student leaves school due to financial hardship.

THE TCL FUND. Empower TCL leadership to respond quickly to those areas of greatest need.

THE MATHER LEGACY SOCIETY. TCL’s legacy of education began in 1868 as The Mather School, which provided education for the daughters of former slaves. As a member of the Mather Legacy Society, you are helping to ensure that this original legacy is carried well into the future. Membership in the Mather Legacy Society is offered to donors who let us know by written documentation that they have included TCL in their estate plans or as a beneficiary of another type of planned gift, regardless of the amount. Mather Legacy Membership is also offered to donors who make a permanent gift of an endowment; a gift that gives back to TCL forever.
