Final weeks to register for TCL fall semester

It’s not too late to apply and register for the Technical College of the Lowcountry fall semester. Registration ends August 5; fall classes start August 18.


TCL offers degree, diploma, certificate and transfer programs in industrial technologies, business technologies, arts and sciences, and health sciences. Specific programs include computer technology, administrative office technology, paralegal studies, criminal justice, hospitality management, culinary arts, alternative energy construction, digital home technology integration, early care and education and more.


Federal and state financial aid options are available through the TCL financial aid office. Additionally, most South Carolina residents qualify for S.C. Lottery Tuition Assistance, which is not based on need or income and can pay more than half of TCL tuition.


TCL’s service area includes Beaufort, Colleton, Hampton and Jasper counties, and TCL has three campuses in the Lowcountry:

In-state tuition is also offered to military members and their spouses who are stationed in Beaufort and to residents of Chatham and Effingham counties in Georgia.
