The Technical College of the Lowcountry Division of Continuing Education will offer a Certified Nursing Assistant course at the Hampton Campus H. Mungin Center this fall. The eight-week course will be held from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays, October 1 through November 25. Clinical training will take place on various days and times at the John E. Nursing Assistants perform activities of daily living under the supervision of nursing staff. Employment opportunities include positions in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, medical offices, assisted living facilities and home health agencies. Students who successfully complete this state-approved course are eligible to take the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) test to become certified.
