Community members joined faculty and staff to celebrate 2019 and to discuss plans for 2020. Guests toured the campus’s new culinary kitchen and HVAC lab.

“Both the kitchen and the HVAC lab are perfect examples of the community and college coming together to help meet important workforce needs in the Lowcountry and beyond,” TCL President Dr. Richard Gough said.

The state-of-the-art kitchen will allow students to start culinary classes now in preparation for the opening of the Culinary Institute of the South in 2021. The HVAC lab features the latest energy efficient models and was generously outfitted by Mingledorff’s Inc. of Savannah, the southeast’s largest distributor of heating, cooling and ventilation products.
