The Beaufort County Channel will rebroadcast the Technical College of the Lowcountry’s 2011 Commencement Ceremony this Friday, May 20 at 8 p.m. TCL’s May 12 Health Sciences Pinning & Recognition ceremony will follow at 9:30 p.m.
The Commencement ceremony was held Friday, May 13 at the All Weather Training Facility on Parris Island. TCL honored its largest graduating class ever — 387 graduates were awarded degrees, diplomas and certificates in arts and sciences, business technologies, health sciences and industrial technologies.
Commencement exercises featured an address by Gen. Arthur E. Brown Jr., a retired four-star general and current chairman of the TCL Area Commission.
