Wednesday, February 15, 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $49.
The Internet is a vastly growing source of information with numerous services available. Do you know what you should and shouldn’t trust? This class will take you through surfing the web using browsers and search engines. Learn how to safely explore web activities such as shopping, paying bills, emailing, playing games, arranging travel with online booking agencies and more.
Intro to Word
Wednesday, February 22, 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $39.
Microsoft Word has many applications. Learn the Word interface (the tools of the trade), discover entering text and pictures, and learn how to create documents using templates, and more. This class is for anyone with an interest in word processing.
Intro to Excel
Wednesday, February 29, 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $39.
Microsoft Excel is useful in tracking budgets, statistics, lists and so much more. This spreadsheet interface is capable of performing tasks such as formulas, charts, graphs and even predictions. This class is an introduction to these concepts and will allow the student to become more familiar with the screen and menu options.
Intro to PowerPoint
Wednesday, March 14, 6 to 9 p.m. Cost is $39.
Microsoft PowerPoint is presentation application software. Learn the basics of setting up a quick and easy PowerPoint presentation. Students will learn about inserting text, pictures, sounds and more. Also, learn the do’s and don’ts of mastering a great PowerPoint presentation.
