TCL to offer computer courses at Colleton

The Colleton County Quick Jobs Center will hold a series of introductory computer courses in September.


Intro to Computers XCPT 550 40

Do you need help figuring it out or just turning it on? Take this class to become better acquainted with the computer. This course focuses on the basics of the machine and additional handy concepts.

Monday and Wednesday, September 26 and 28 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost is $65.


Intro to Excel 2010 XCPT 533 40

Microsoft Excel 2010 is spreadsheet application software. Spreadsheets have several uses including tracking budgets, statistics and more. This class is an introduction to these concepts.

Tuesday, Sept 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $49.


Intro to Word 2010 XCPT 538 40

Microsoft Word 2010 has new features. Learn the Word Interface, and discover entering text, pictures, templates, and more. This course introduces individuals to Word Processing.

Thursday, September 29 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $49.


Intro to PowerPoint 2010 XCPT 712 40

PowerPoint 2010 is a useful application for presentation creation. Learn the interface and the features most used to make a presentation great.

Friday, September 30 from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $49.


The Colleton County Quick Jobs Center opened in August and is located at 1085 Thunderbolt Dr., Walterboro, S.C. 29488.
