TCL to offer free basic computer, Lean Six Sigma courses in Colleton

The Technical College of the Lowcountry will offer free courses in Basic Computer Skills and Intro to Lean Six Sigma at the Colleton Career Skills Center, 1085 Thunderbolt Drive, Walterboro.

 

Basic Computer Skills will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays, October 30 through December 11. This class will cover topics like How to use a PC, Microsoft Suite 2012, Intro to Windows 7, Basic PC Anatomy, Intro to Word, Intro to Excel, Intro to Internet and email.

 

The Intro to Lean Six Sigma course will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesdays, November 14, 28 and December 12. Intro to Lean Six Sigma is a specialized business and industry management course that will provide information about the basic concepts of Lean Six Sigma and will allow participants to understand its value to an organization.
