TCL to offer public speaking workshop

The Technical College of the Lowcountry Life Enrichment Center will offer “Public Speaking for Success” Tuesday, June 7,  from 4 to 8 p.m. at the TCL New River Campus in Bluffton. The cost is $89 per person and enrollment is limited.


The workshop is designed to help attendees learn how to effectively address an audience and will also provide participants greater insight to understanding their roles as communicators inside and outside the business environment.


“The instructor, Adrienne Edge, provides an interactive, energizing and customized approach to public speaking so that each participant gains greater skill in preparing and delivering public presentations,” said Wendy Walls, TCL director of business and community relations.

Meet the Instructor:

Adrienne Edge has more than 10 years of experience in facilitation and training. She holds an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from Winthrop  University and a Master’s of Education in Counselor Education from Clemson University.  Her business, Cutting Edge Communication Consulting, provides training and development for groups and individuals interested in maximizing their ability to effectively communicate with others.
