The U.S. Government offers a variety of financial-assistance programs. All federal programs require the completion and submission of the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), plus the submission of all other documentation required by the TCL Financial Aid Office.

All financial aid is awarded without regard to race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability, or other individual distinction.

The Federal government offers several types of financial aid:

  • Pell Grant
  • Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant
  • Loan Programs
  • College Work Study

Important Notes:

  • To have the best opportunity for financial aid awards each fall, have your FAFSA and scholarship applications completed and returned by April 1st.
  • Go to www.studentaid.gov to complete the current academic year application. TCL school code is 009910
  • Start the Financial Aid process EARLY.

Loans

While there are scholarships available to students, there are also plenty of loans that students can use to their advantage in furthering their education. Learn the ins and outs of what education loans such as federal loans or even Applying for a Private Education Student Loan can do for you.

At TCL, we understand that student loans can be intimidating. That’s why we have partnered with Inceptia, a division of the National Student Loan Program, to provide you with free assistance on your student loan obligations to ensure you feel comfortable and can be successful in your loan repayment.

Inceptia may be calling to help you with next steps in your repayment journey. Their friendly counselors are there to help you every step of the way. While you are in your grace period, they might reach out to you to answer questions you may have on your repayment options. If you become delinquent on your loans, they may also contact you to help find a solution that works within your means.

The Inceptia counselors are there to help you with every step by staying in touch with you via phone calls, letters, and/or emails. They will not be collecting money from you. Inceptia’s nonprofit purpose is to help you find answers to your questions and solutions to your issues. We encourage you to visit Inceptia’s Student Loan Knowledge HQ website at HeroKnowl.org.
