Program Description


The Architectural Design Technician I certificate is the introductory certificate in TCL’s architectural design program. Fundamental concepts of design and construction techniques in residential and light commercial buildings are explored.

The 13-credit-hour certificate program can be completed in as little as one semester. Courses include building systems, history of architecture, construction print reading, estimating, and building codes.

What does this program cost?*

Tuition: 13 credits x $170 per credit = $2,210.

Remember, this is before S.C. Lottery Tuition Assistance and other financial aid, which could drop your costs by more than half. In fact, after financial aid, many TCL students attend for free.
