Program Description


Knowing databases means you know how to organize, store, retrieve, and manage large amounts of digital information. This expertise makes you extremely valuable in today’s increasingly digital world.

Technical College of the Lowcountry’s Database Certificate program will give you the knowledge to go to work as an entry-level database specialist. The 18-credit-hour certificate program can be completed in as little as one full-time semester, or you can complete classes as your schedule allows. Evening, online and in-person classes give you the flexibility you need.

Courses include beginning and advanced databases, computer applications, visual basic programming, and internet programming. Enroll today.

What does this program cost?*

Tuition: 18 credits x $190 per credit = $3,420.

Remember, this is before S.C. Lottery Tuition Assistance and other financial aid, which could drop your costs by more than half. In fact, after financial aid, many TCL students attend for free.
