Technical College of the Lowcountry’s Home Performance Technician Certificate provides hands-on instruction regarding indoor air quality issues in residential construction. You’ll learn how to select and install insulation materials, optimize energy efficiency and employ the latest weatherization techniques.

TCL’s 22-credit-hour Home Performance Technician Certificate program can be completed in as little as two semesters or choose to take a course as it fits into your already busy schedule. Evening classes are offered.

Courses emphasize these “green” building techniques, as outlined by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles, to ensure you have the skills needed for jobs today and tomorrow.
