Program Description


As the healthcare industry grows, so does the need for computer networking specialists who can manage the digitization, storage and security of electronic health records. Technical College of the Lowcountry will give you the specialized skills you need to secure a bright future in this growing field.

This 33-credit-hour certificate program can be completed in as little as two full-time semesters. Courses include medical terminology, health information and ethics, networking, computer security and more.

The S.C. annual mean wage is $54,530 for computer network support specialists, according to 2017 reports from the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Pay can increase substantially with time and experience.

What does this program cost?*

Tuition: 33 credits x $190 per credit = $6,270.

Remember, this is before S.C. Lottery Tuition Assistance and other financial aid, which could drop your costs by more than half. In fact, after financial aid, many TCL students attend for free.
