Databases can be thought of as electronic filing systems. Use the databases to search for and retrieve general articles in magazines and newspapers, or peer-reviewed articles in scholarly journals.
Use the Online Catalog to find books, newspapers, DVDs and other resources located in the library. Search by Title, Author, Subject or Keyword.
Electronic books are complete books viewed over the Internet, available 24/7/365. Supplement your research with these keyword searchable books.
Note: To access eBooks and Databases off-campus, you will need the following information:
Username: 7-digit TCL ID number
Password: first initial of first name + last three digits of Social Security number
The Academic Success Center is equipped with computers, reference materials, selected college textbooks and other multimedia technology. Online tutoring for general education classes and other college curricula includes reading, writing, basic math as well as beginning algebra, intermediate algebra, computer skills, test taking skills and much, much more. Ask the tutoring center lab monitor or an LRC staff member for more information.

Main Campus
Regular Hours During Semesters:
Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 8:00pm
Friday 8:00am – 11:30am
Closed Saturdays and Sundays
Hours during intersessions:
Monday-Thursday 8:00am – 5:30 pm
Friday 8:00 am – 11:30 am
New River Campus
Librarian hours vary. Call for more information or to book an appointment, 470-6003
The LRC computers at the New River campus are available:
Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 10:00pm
Friday and Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm
PASCAL Delivers INTERLIBRARY LOANS
When a needed book, periodical article, or audio visual title is not available from the LRC, it can often be obtained from another library. Books can be ordered from another South Carolina Academic Library using PASCAL Delivers. PASCAL books arrive in about 5 days. Periodical articles and some audio materials can be obtained in about two weeks through Interlibrary Loan. Charges for Interlibrary Loan service vary according to user status. Please plan ahead to take advantage of this service. Consult an LRC staff member, read our LibGuide: What to Do When You Can’t Find a Title, or call the LRC at 525-8304 or 470-6003 for assistance.
