The Center offers Employers the opportunity to post job openings on the TCL Jobs Portal. Information regarding job openings is distributed to TCL students and Alumni in the greater Lowcountry Region of Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton and Colleton counties.
The Corporate Spotlight provides an opportunity for Employers to connect with the student population or a specific student organization in a more formal setting. The focus is on a topic as it relates to development of students professional skills (leadership, interview skills, working with your new manager, cases in ethics, etc.).
TCL faculty direct curriculum-led internship opportunities in a variety of program and career pathway disciplines, supporting employers from business and industry in our region with interest in creating internships and placing TCL interning students.
Employer of the Month
The Employer of the Month provides our ‘TCL Center’ Employers with the opportunity to meet informally with students seeking career field information about career pathways. The program is available in both the fall and spring semesters.
Employer Recruitment Showcase
The Recruitment Showcase is a structured event that is held at the College and follows the Employer’s agenda. The program is available in both the fall and spring semesters. Employers (via the College) reserve facility space (either a classroom or conference room) in the College and invite students to attend the Session. Typically, the Employer couples the Showcase with the Employer of the Month Program and/or the Corporate Spotlight to create a complement of activities to fully engage students. Employers present an overview of the company, discuss employment opportunities (cooperative education, part-time, or full-time) and company benefits.
Annual Career Fair
In coordination with local and state workforce partners TCL hosts an Annual Career Fair and Hiring Event for regional employers.
“TCL + 1” Recruitment Pairings
Join TCL at the exhibit table of regional college and career fairs to meet informally with students and career seekers about career field information and career pathways.
TCL President, Richard Gough, invites regional employers to actively engage in helping to guide and develop programmatic curriculum and training through the College’s Advisory Committees. Directly collaborate with the President, faculty and staff to ensure program content and training supports the workforce needs of the region and real-time demand of local employers.
