The HUB

The HUB is your one-stop shop for career counseling, academic advising and financial literacy information. The HUB is located in Building 8 on the Beaufort Mather campus and at the New River and Hampton campus. The HUB is where you would meet with your assigned Navigator.

Each student is assigned both a Navigator and a faculty advisor. Your Navigator will primarily assist career counseling, first-year advising and will help you plan your courses for your entire program. Your Navigator can also provide general FAFSA and financial aid assistance as well as information about scholarships and other tuition assistance programs. Your faculty advisor will assist with more program specific questions as well as graduation application assistance.

The college is open Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and virtual on Friday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM. For Assistance on Friday, please email HUB@tcl.edu.

CURTIS BOLDEN

Curtis Bolden is the Lead Navigator at the Beaufort Mather Campus for the following programs:

Curtis is a native of South Carolina and serves as the Lead Navigator at TCL, where he oversees all navigators and provides guidance across all academic programs. Before joining the team, Curtis spent seven years as an educator in Jasper County, where he developed a strong foundation in student support and academic guidance.

An alumnus of TCL, Curtis holds Associate degrees in Computer Technology and General Technology from the Technical College of the Lowcountry. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Technology Leadership with a minor in Career & Technical education from Fort Hays State University and is currently pursuing his Masters degree.

Curtis is passionate about helping students achieve their educational and career goals. He takes pride in providing guidance, resources, and support to ensure a positive and successful academic experience. In his free time, Curtis enjoys reading, playing basketball and tennis, and traveling.

ANGEL BROWN

Angel Brown is the Navigator at the Beaufort Campus for the following programs:

Angel is a native of Lady's Island in Beaufort, South Carolina. Prior to joining our Navigator team at TCL, she worked in Concierge Customer Support, assisting businesses with high-level client care and service. Angel earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Winston-Salem State University. She enjoys cultural research, listening to audiobooks, writing stories, and attending cultural community events. Angel is passionate about giving back to the community that has poured into her, and she looks forward to helping students navigate their educational journey and build a foundation for lifelong success.

AMY FRAMPTON

Originally from Aiken, SC, Amy has called the Lowcountry home for nearly 18 years. She holds a B.A. in Educational Studies and a M.Ed. in Education Technology and Instructional Design. With a deep passion for education, she is dedicated to guiding students as they navigate their educational pathways and work toward achieving their goals. In her free time, Amy enjoys reading, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband and their two children.

Natiema is a native of Hampton County. She has 3 children; two high school graduates and a pre-schooler. Prior to joining the team here at TCL, Natiema worked as a Private Armed Security Officer. Natiema received her degree of Associates in Applied Science-Criminal Justice Technology from the Technical College of the Lowcountry. She also earned her Bachelor of Arts from the Citadel. She enjoys traveling, cruising, spending time with family, and ancestral researching. Natiema is passionate about working with students to meet their educational expectations and looks forward to assisting students on paving a pathway to success!

Jaden Goethe

Alison spent most of her childhood years growing up on Hilton Head Island. After high school she earned her B.S. in Business Administration from the College of Charleston. Her passion for helping others has always been a priority but, her main focus has been centered on empowering students with the skills and confidence to explore their career choices. Before working at The Technical College of the Lowcountry, Alison spent many years working at both the Hilton Head and Bluffton Library. She enjoys yoga, reading and lazy days.
