Congrats to the TCL Class of 2017!

The 2017 Commencement Ceremony will be held at 6 p.m., Friday, May 12, at the Henry C. Chambers  Waterfront Park in downtown Beaufort, 700 Bay Street. See the list of graduates here.  #TCL2017

Ceremony Details

  • 350 graduates will receive 500+ certificates, diplomas and associate degrees in arts and sciences, business technologies, industrial technologies and health sciences.
  • Mr. Derrick Coaxum, TCL graduate, will deliver the Commencement address.
  • Ms. Bobbi Sue Harmon, who will receive an Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology, was selected as this year’s Student Commencement Speaker.

Cap & Gowns

To Order:

Visit the Herff Jones website here. Fees must be paid (by credit or debit card only) when the order is placed. The deadline to order your cap and gown is Friday, March 17, 2017 by midnight.


Diploma and Certificate Students

Cap, Gown, and Tassel Unit $39.95 plus tax

Associate Degree Students

Cap, Gown, and Tassel Unit $39.95 plus Associate Degree Hood $33.00

Pick Up:

You must pick up your cap and gown orders from the main Beaufort Campus Bookstore either Monday, May 8 or Tuesday, May 9, from 8:00-5:30. Orders MUST be picked up BEFORE rehearsal begins on May 9 (bring your Herff Jones receipt).

Graduation Announcements

Announcements  will be for sale in the main Beaufort Campus Bookstore ($1.50 each plus tax).

Graduation Application Information

The Summer 2017 Graduation application deadline is July 1, 2017.

Are you nearing completion of all of your program requirements?  Students who anticipate completing all program requirements must submit an application to graduatePlease note that you must apply to graduate even if you do not plan to participate in the formal graduation ceremony in May.  There is no fee to apply to graduate.

Note – August and December graduates are invited to participate in the graduation ceremony the following May.
