Congrats to the TCL Class of 2018!
The 2018 Commencement Ceremony was held at 6 p.m., Friday, May 11, at the Henry C. Chambers Waterfront Park in downtown Beaufort, 700 Bay Street. #TCL2018
Commencement speakers included Dan Wood, a TCL alumnus and Bluffton Town Councilmember, and Jasiah Ballenger, a senior at Whale Branch Early College High School who earned two associate degrees and three college certificates before graduating high school. In addition, Hilton Head Island resident and philanthropist Liz Clist received the Presidential Medallion, the College’s top honor. The Class of 2018 consists of 326 graduates who earned nearly 500 associate degrees, diplomas and certificates.

Important Information for Graduates
Cap & Gowns
Visit the Herff Jones website here. Fees must be paid (by credit or debit card only) when the order is placed. The deadline to order your cap and gown is March 16, 2018 (if you’ve missed the deadline, contact the bookstore at 843-525-8303).
Diploma and Certificate Students
Cap, Gown, and Tassel Unit $39.95 plus tax.
Associate Degree Students
Cap, Gown, and Tassel Unit $39.95 plus Associate Degree Hood $33.00
Pick up your online cap and gown orders from the Beaufort Campus Bookstore either Monday, May 7 or Tuesday, May 8, from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm. Orders MUST be picked up BEFORE rehearsal begins on May 8 (bring your Herff Jones receipt). If they are available for pick-up before this time, we will notify you via email.
Announcements will be for sale in the Beaufort Campus Bookstore ($1.50 each plus tax).
