Today’s buildings are more technical than ever. Complex systems must work together for energy efficiency. Hospitals require tightly controlled air flows and temperatures.

TAB Professionals:

Record accurate data
Adjust air and water controls
Work with all trades in challenging environments
Schedule and coordinate across large construction projects
The TAB report is concrete evidence of achievement of the design and system capabilities. The TAB Report is the Building’s Report Card.

TAB Professionals use state-of-the-art, calibrated test equipment

Pitot Tube
Inclined Manometer
Electronic Manometers
Capture Hoods
Velocity Grids
Anemometers (Vane and Hot Wire)
Tachometers
Temperature and Humidity Probes
Responsibilities:

Perform TAB plan reviews
Perform on-site TAB activities
Record all Readings and Anomalies
Report all Deficient Items
Establish effective working relationships with Client, Owner, Contractors, Peers and Sub-Contractors
Understand and support the immediate needs of the construction project schedule

Qualifications:

Qualifications and Skills Required:

TAB/Engineering experience
Knowledge about the design and construction of HVAC systems
Good organizational and communication skills
Ability to read and comprehend , design drawings, submittals and specifications
Establish effective working relationships with Client, Owner, Contractors, Peers and Sub-Contractors
Already passed or have the ability to pass a TAB certified technician test
Willingness to travel to construction sites for 50-75% of the working hours
Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and carry 50 lbs.
