The Technical College of the Lowcountry is pleased to announce three of its employees have been selected by their fellow employees as the South Carolina Technical Education Association’s (SCTEA) “Educators of the Year.”
TCL’s honorees include Claudia Morgan, Support Staff of the Year, Karen Smith, Administrator of the Year, and Susanne Douglas, Faculty Member of the Year.
All three were recognized along with their colleagues from other South Carolina technical colleges at SCTEA’s conference held Feb. 12-14, in Myrtle Beach.
This prestigious annual event recognizes outstanding service and achievement within the state’s technical college system. The awards highlight the dedication and excellence of individuals who have made significant impacts in their respective roles.
Through its annual awards and conferences, SCTEA fosters a community of excellence and innovation among educators and administrators.
