The Technical College of the Lowcountry (TCL) kicked off the new semester with a week of activities designed to welcome students and build connections across its campuses.
TideLife, TCL’s Student Life program, brought students, faculty and staff together for music, giveaways, raffles, dirty sodas and a taco truck during a lively campus celebration. TCL President Boeding joined the festivities, spending time with students, faculty and staff throughout the event.
TideLife encompasses the entire TCL community, including students, faculty and staff across all TCL campuses in the Lowcountry. The program provides opportunities for students to connect with others, discover campus resources, develop leadership skills and participate in activities that enhance their college experience both inside and outside the classroom.
Welcome Week celebrations also included breakfast treats and activities across TCL’s campuses, creating opportunities for students to connect with faculty and staff and get involved in campus life.
“TCL is more than a place to attend classes—it’s a community,” said President Boeding. “Events like these give our students an opportunity to build relationships, get connected and feel a sense of belonging from the moment they arrive.”
The excitement and energy across campus reflected TCL’s commitment to creating a vibrant, welcoming environment where students can connect, engage and thrive.
