This curriculum profile outlines the required coursework for the Surgical Technology program. Students must complete all general education and program-specific courses as outlined below.

General Education Requirements

Complete the following courses:

  • PSY 201 – General Psychology (3 credit hours)
  • Humanities Elective (3 credit hours)
  • MAT 110 – College Algebra (3 credit hours)
  • AHS 102 – Medical Terminology (3 credit hours)
    Semester 2 co-requisite; may be taken prior to program entry
  • BIO 210 – Anatomy and Physiology I (4 credit hours)
    Prerequisite: BIO 112 or BIO 101; Semester 1 co-requisite
  • BIO 211 – Anatomy and Physiology II (4 credit hours)
    Semester 2 co-requisite
