An interactive museum experience that you can taste
The Technical College of the Lowcountry’s Culinary Institute of the South is uniquely positioned to bring to life the story of Southern food and Lowcountry cuisine. Its location in Bluffton, South Carolina, sits between Savannah, Georgia, and Charleston, South Carolina, two of the most popular Southern cities in America. The Foodseum serves as an interactive museum, the first of its kind in the South, for residents and tourists alike to discover the area’s rich food heritage.
- The Foodseum showcases interactive exhibits, guest lecturers and hands-on seminars.
- Visual displays preserves Lowcountry agriculture and farming history and showcases artifacts such as kitchen utensils, farming tools, recipes and cookbooks.
- Photographs and videos feature Southern chefs from the Lowcountry and beyond.
- Revolving exhibits will spotlight themes such as Gullah, Geechee, Seafood, Farm to Table and more.

Admission is free as space allows. Online donations are accepted here, or make a cash/check gift in-person at the Foodseum.
