Administrative professionals spend more and more time on the computer. To stay ahead, it’s increasingly important be proficient in a variety of creative applications.

TCL’s Office Applications for Business and Industry certificate program provides hands-on training to help you develop higher-level skills in a variety of office applications. Graduates walk away with the skills and expertise they need to fully utilize a wide range of office applications.

The Program

The curriculum empowers you to make the most of the desktop tools you have at your fingertips, helping you learn to work smarter and faster. Courses include word processing, desktop publishing, computer applications, database, spreadsheets and graphics.

You can complete this 21-credit-hour certificate program in as little as two full-time semesters, with classes in person and/or online.

ACCREDITATION

Technical College of the Lowcountry is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award associate degrees. Technical College of the Lowcountry also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. PROGRAM COST

Tuition: 21 credits x $222 per credit = $4,662.

FAQS & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This certificate provides the necessary skills for working in any computerized office whether it is a medical facility, construction company, hotel, or government offices. Students will learn skills to include: produce and utilize databases with ACCESS, create spreadsheets and charts with EXCEL, letters and mail merge functions with WORD, and flyers with PUBLISHER.
