CHILL WITH A NEW CAREER

Learn from the best to get started in a cool career for a more comfortable life.

The TCL HVAC Technology program is the Lowcountry’s residential and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning training center. Students receive hands-on instruction from certified instructors and can choose from day and evening courses in TCL’s fully equipped labs at both the Beaufort and Bluffton New River campuses.

TCL’s Designing HVAC Systems Certificate program specifically prepares students to design air conditioning systems, including equipment selection and duct design.

This 20-credit-hour certificate can be completed in as little as two semesters. Courses include refrigeration, heating and air conditioning fundamentals; customer service; duct fabrication; residential load calculations; and codes and ordinances. Plus, this program is eligible for the S.C. Wins Scholarship, which can pay up to $65 per credit hour.
