The Technical College of the Lowcountry Foundation is dedicated to supporting college departments, programs, faculty, and staff through various funding opportunities. If you are seeking financial assistance for a college project or initiative, the TCL Foundation encourages you to apply for funding through the TCL Foundation.

TCL Foundation Funding Requests

Applications for funding from the TCL Foundation should be submitted in writing and directed to the Assistant Vice-President for Institutional Advancement. Applications should include:

  • the TCL department or school making the request;
  • a contact name;
  • the nature of the request and/or need for funds;
  • the amount of funding requested;
  • a timeline, if applicable;
  • any support documentation, such as invoices or quotes;
  • and a description of how the TCL Foundation will be recognized if the funding is approved.

The Liz and Todd Clist Center for Excellence Funding Requests

Purpose Statement: The Liz and Todd Clist Center for Excellence (CCE) provides Technical College of the Lowcountry educators and students resources and support designed to enhance teaching excellence and impactful learning.

Objectives:

  • Fostering a community of engaged learners.
  • Promoting evidence-based best practices for teaching and learning.
  • Cultivating effective student learning.
  • Supporting the use of new instructional and learning technologies.

The TCL Foundation shall serve as the custodian for any requests for funding made to the Clist Center for Excellence. Applications for funding from the Clist Center should be submitted in writing and directed to the Assistant Vice-President for Institutional Advancement. Applications for funding should include:

  • the TCL department or school making the request;
  • a contact name;
  • the nature of the request and/or need for funds;
  • the amount of funding requested;
  • a timeline, if applicable;
  • any support documentation, such as invoices or quotes;
  • and a description of how the Liz and Todd Clist Center for Excellence will be recognized if the funding is approved.

The Vice-President for Academic Affairs serves as the primary fiduciary for the Clist Center for Excellence. Once submitted to the Assistant Vice-President for Institutional Advancement, applications will be reviewed for completion and then submitted to the Vice-President for Academic Affairs for approval of funding.
